2010 Toyota Prius - Mechanics Special

It appears to have a blown head gasket. At this time, it is uncertain if there are any additional engine issues. The hybrid battery was gone through a few years ago and is functioning well. The transmission is in great condition and operates smoothly.

The car has been well-maintained and is very clean, having primarily been used as a commuter vehicle for both the previous owner and myself. It has accumulated 238,000 miles, mostly highway driving. Currently sitting in my heated garage.

If an engine replacement is necessary, I have a contact who offers used Prius engines with mileage between 40,000 and 60,000 miles, priced around $1,200.
