(New) Remington 597 (Youth size) .22long rifle semiautomatic. New factory test fired only. This is a one-of-a-kind prototype rifle custom designed, and custom built at a Remington's Factory. This little rifle is ideal for the young, experienced shooter or anyone else that needs a rifle with a short pull. The pull is 11.5" compared the standard Remington 597. Which has a 14.0" pull. The barrel has been machined down and is16" long compared to the standard 597 barrel which is 20" long. It has a custom-made wooden stock which has been dipped in a durable rugged finish. It uses the same action as the standard 597 and uses the same 10 round magazine. This little guy only weighs 4.25 lbs. It comes as shown, with one ten round magazine. This would make an ideal Christmas gift for the young shooter.
