I have been growing my dairy herd and have decided to put some up for sale. I have done the hair sample to test the beta casein. The first 2 tested A2/A2. The ones that tested A2/I are A2/A2- the I is a variant of A2.
1) This is a little A2/A2 jersey named Ellie. She is ai sired by Crosswind Alert. She was born March 18, 2022. Halter broke and a very sweet girl. She raised a couple extra calves this year, was very easy to put calves on. She calved April 21. I dried her up to let her put more condition on for the winter. She last cycled on 10/4. She was confirmed bred and tb tested negative recently.
2) This is Ellies calf Dixie. She is A2/I (A2/A2) She is ai sired by normande bull Olympe. She was born April 21, 2024. When shes slicked off, she has a very pretty tiger striped brindle coat. She is bangs vaccinated. She did lead pretty good on halter as a couple month old calf this summer.
3) Luna is an A1/A2 bred heifer. She is half jersey/half black angus- sired by our black angus Traveler bull. She was born July 6, 2023. She wont get very big. Nice little gentle heifer, not halter broke. She is bull bred to my normande bull, last cycled 8/5.
5) Bud is not for sale, he is my normande bull that covered my dairy cows this year. Ellie and Luna will have his calf. He is A2/B. (A2/A1)
I have a good variety of everything, from weaned heifers, bred heifers, to bred cows.
