Update on August 19th. I have a nest of 7 budgies that will begin fledging in about a week and a half. They are all some shade of blue. the oldest is full-strength (normal) mauve yellow-face type II. The rest of them are or appear to be gray-wings, some with the yellow-face gene. I do not hand feed, but once the chicks are 14 days old, I start handling them every day and they become easy to tame once out of the nest. If you are planning to add a parakeet to your family, contact me for more information about these babies. My previous broods from this spring and summer have all sold very quickly.
I also have three older youngsters from this spring/summer's previous broods. One is a yellow-face type II albino, a male. The other two are green normal females.
Prices vary from $30 for the older ones to $50 for the prettiest/friendliest young ones.
